How Loud Should You Run Pink Noise Levels When System Tuning?

Rarely do we have ample time to tune a PA. Since we require a “quiet” room and will be making “loud noises”, the entire load-in can come to a halt. We’ve got to get our measurement rig up in a hurry, move with a purpose, and get things done.

To make matters worse (I have been guilty of this in the past), we blast pink noise at near show levels while taking measurements.
