It’s time to work on your business, not just in your business.

It’s hard enough simply keeping up with our gigs. Clients call, show schedules change, we’ve got to put out fires onsite. It’s tough to stay on track.

Despite the event industry’s challenges, I love the craft of live audio. Nothing beats that first downbeat with an engaged crowd and a killer band. We live for those moments, but what about “the business stuff” in between?

Most freelancers fly by the seat of their pants. Invoices get sent (eventually) and dates get booked, but there’s no underlying through-line or virtuous system that holds everything together.

As much as some like to think structure restricts freedom, I say structure creates freedom.

Wouldn’t you like to free up valuable brain space knowing that the business machine is well oiled and humming along as it should? Every task and project is accounted for, you know what’s coming up, how you’re intentionally choosing to level up, what your finances are looking like next quarter?

This requires intentional effort orchestrating an invaluable system of business processes. Sounds complicated? (It’s actually not).
