I was majorly bummed out over my website “launch”…

9 years ago I put out a “digital shingle” - my very first website. I was working full-time at a local production company at the time but wanted to pick up some freelance studio work on the side. In my mind I thought, “I want to be a real business now. What do all real businesses have? A website!”

On launch day I hit publish and anxiously waited for the site analytics to update. A few visitors trickled in, but the numbers were less than stellar. It was then I realized that there’s more to business than having a cool looking website.

You know what I didn’t have? A flexible and resilient system for:
